Bioresonance And Biochemistry: The Science Of Sound, Light, Frequency And Vibration

At Biohacker Summit 2023 Amsterdam, Dr. Steven Schwartz Offered A Sweeping Vision Of The Body As An Instrument Tuned By Energy

In Amsterdam on Saturday, 14 October 2023, the Biohacker Summit 2023 Amsterdam hosted a presentation that sat at the fault line between frontier wellness, biofeedback science and metaphysical ambition. In his talk, Biochemistry of Sound, Light, Frequency & Vibration, Dr. Steven Schwartz argued that healing did not begin with chemistry alone, but with resonance.

A chiropractor, regenerative medicine expert, founder of Bioharmonic Technologies and creator of the V.I.B.E. System, Schwartz brought the cadence of a seasoned clinician and the fervour of a believer. His central claim was both simple and expansive: “Bioresonance creates biochemistry.”

From that proposition, he built an entire framework. Health, in his telling, was not merely a matter of molecules, diagnoses or even genetics. It was an expression of frequencies moving through the nervous system, the connective tissue matrix and the electrical architecture of the body itself.

A Case For Healing Through The Parasympathetic State

At the heart of Schwartz’s presentation was the autonomic nervous system, particularly the distinction between sympathetic activation and parasympathetic repair. He insisted that no intervention, however advanced, could fully deliver if the body remained trapped in stress physiology.

“If your body is not in parasympathetic, your biochemistry is not optimized for healing,” he said.

It was the kind of line that landed cleanly in a room full of biohackers already fluent in heart rate variability, vagal tone and stress modulation. Yet Schwartz pushed the point further. For him, sound and vibration were not auxiliary wellness tools. They were direct levers capable of shifting the body out of survival mode and into a biochemical environment more conducive to repair.

He cited heart rate variability data, EEG readings and pre- and post-session biomarker testing as evidence that therapeutic sound exposure could alter emotional state, harmonise brain activity and improve markers tied to autonomic regulation within as little as 30 minutes.

The Body As Light, Sound And Signal

Schwartz’s larger thesis rested on a view of the human body as an energetic phenomenon before it becomes a chemical one. Drawing on the piezoelectric effect, he described living tissue as a site of constant electromagnetic generation. Movement at the subatomic level, he said, created fields, sparks and photonic emissions, making the body not just biological matter but a luminous signalling system.

This was where his language became most sweeping. The aura, often dismissed as mystical shorthand, was reframed as a measurable electromagnetic consequence of cellular activity. In Schwartz’s account, electrons jumping between shells did not merely belong to textbook biochemistry. They pointed to a deeper truth about human physiology as an interplay of light, sound and vibration.

He summarised the concept in one of the talk’s most memorable lines: “Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. This is not philosophy; this is physics.”

It was an invocation of Einstein as much as an appeal to intention. Schwartz repeatedly returned to the idea that environment, mindset and vibrational input shaped not only emotional experience but cellular expression itself.

The Connective Tissue Matrix As The Hidden Receiver

One of the presentation’s more intriguing sections focused on what Schwartz called the living connective tissue matrix, a network composed of microfilaments, microtubules and intermediate tubules. In his formulation, this matrix functioned as a primary sensory interface, translating environmental vibration into biological signals.

This mattered, he argued, because signal transduction and even mitosis were influenced by the quality of information entering the body. Harmonic input could support harmonic chemistry. Negative input could do the opposite.

“Positive information is what creates positive chemistry. Negative information creates negative chemistry,” he said.

For Schwartz, the body was therefore not a sealed container but a responsive field, continuously rewritten by what it absorbed. Water, which he described as both conductive and memory-bearing, was another key part of this model. Since the body is composed largely of water, he suggested, it could serve as a medium through which frequency imprints are carried and expressed.

Sound Below Hearing, Trauma Beneath Language

Perhaps the most provocative claim in the session concerned the skin. Schwartz described it not as passive wrapping but as an active sensory extension of the nervous system, sharing embryonic origins in the ectoderm and capable of detecting frequencies below the range of hearing.

Humans may hear roughly between 20 and 20,000 hertz, he said, but the skin can perceive low-frequency information from 0.5 to 100 hertz. That range, in his view, opened a therapeutic doorway. If the body could receive vibrational information beneath conscious auditory processing, then trauma, shock and stored physiological memory might be addressed through the tissues themselves.

This was the rationale behind his “Sonic Suitables” and the V.I.B.E. System, a full-body, music-activated vibrational platform designed to deliver layered therapeutic frequencies through the skin and connective tissue. Schwartz framed the technology as a way to release what conventional language often cannot reach: memory embedded in the body.

The phrase he returned to was familiar in trauma circles, but here given a distinct energetic spin: the issues are in the tissues.

Intention, Technology And The Pursuit Of Alignment

What distinguished Schwartz’s presentation at Biohacker Summit 2023 Amsterdam was not only its appeal to testing and physiology, but its insistence that intention itself could be integrated into treatment. He described asking participants to choose the state or outcome they wished to align with before exposure to a sound program, effectively pairing conscious desire with vibrational delivery.

“When you can match up your intention with the vibration of your body, you align to that dimensional reality,” he said.

To critics, such language may have sounded slippery, drifting from measurable biology into spiritual abstraction. But in the conference hall, it was presented as a coherent extension of the same idea: that information shapes the body, and that frequency may be one of its most powerful carriers.

Schwartz’s career arc gave that argument its own internal logic. Since 2000, he said, he had worked with chronic illness, allergies, autoimmune disorders and emotional imbalance using vibrational techniques. After leaving private practice in 2015, he shifted toward performance optimisation for high-level individuals seeking not just relief, but enhancement.

That evolution was visible in the talk itself. This was not simply a lecture about disease. It was a pitch for a new human operating model, one in which biology could be tuned.

A Biohacking Audience Ready To Listen

At times playful, at times evangelical, Schwartz kept the session interactive, asking the audience who liked music, vibration and frequency, and drawing them into a participatory rhythm. Yet beneath the showmanship lay a serious attempt to reposition sound therapy within a broader physiological narrative.

At Biohacker Summit 2023 Amsterdam, where optimisation often arrives dressed in metrics, devices and molecular precision, Schwartz offered something more elemental. His argument was that before there is chemistry, there is information. Before there is symptom, there is signal. Before there is healing, there is a shift in state.

Whether one viewed his framework as pioneering science, speculative synthesis or a fusion of both, the presentation made clear why his work continues to attract attention. It spoke to a contemporary hunger for models of health that are at once technical and transcendent, data-driven and deeply personal.

In the end, Schwartz left the audience with a line that distilled the afternoon’s thesis to its essence: “Bioresonance creates biochemistry.” In Amsterdam, at least for an hour, the room was willing to entertain the possibility that the body might indeed be listening.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Steven Schwartz start with the nervous system?

Because he argues no intervention, however advanced, can fully deliver while the body stays trapped in stress physiology. If your body is not in parasympathetic, he said, your biochemistry is not optimized for healing. That distinction between sympathetic activation and parasympathetic repair sat at the heart of the talk.

What does he mean by the body as an energetic phenomenon?

Drawing on the piezoelectric effect, Schwartz described living tissue as a site of constant electromagnetic generation. Movement at the subatomic level, he said, creates fields, sparks and photonic emissions, making the body a luminous signalling system before it is a chemical one.

What is the living connective tissue matrix?

A network of microfilaments, microtubules and intermediate tubules that Schwartz casts as a primary sensory interface, translating environmental vibration into biological signals. It is the mechanism by which sound, light and frequency would reach physiology in his framework.
