Zhen Institute

Chuchu (Chéng Xuān) is a 24th-generation lineage holder of Chun Yang Men, the Pure Yang Sect, initiated at Wudang Mountain. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Zhen Institute (真研究所), a consciousness research and transformational leadership organization fiscally sponsored by Forward Global (501(c)(3)), and co-founder of Ceremonia. Her work synthesizes Daoist inner alchemy, Theravada, Chan/Zen, Tibetan Vajrayana, and contemporary neuroscience into the Five Pathways framework, a complete architecture of inner transformation spanning Body, Energy, Heart, Mind, and Spirit. Over the years she has led over a hundred multi-day ceremonial retreats across four continents, conducts consciousness research with collaborators at Cambridge and Stanford, and serves philanthropic leaders, founders, and social change agents who understand that consciousness evolution/inner transformation is the upstream infrastructure of civilizational change. She has ongoing research with Cambridge and Stanford on psychedelic, transformation and consciousness focus on her framework.
